Writing a new review as Dr.Walia has went well out of her way to help me figure out what we can do to help my 8 month old daughter with her choking and reflux. After having N awful experience with multiple different doctors who did not care, I will say Dr. Walia has been absolutely amazing and so kind and thoughtful of what’s going on!

If I could give 100 stars I would!! Dr. Walia was hands down the most personable doctor we have ever had an appointment with. I researched for hours trying to find the perfect GI doctor for my 15 year old, it was worth the time. She answered every question, took her time explaining even drawing out a picture and making sure my daughter didn’t have questions and we were both comfortable upon leaving. Labs were drawn right in the exam room. If you are looking for a pediatric GI doctor, don’t hesitate to see Dr. Walia! Weeks of worrying waiting for this appointment, we both left relieved and thankful for her time and knowledge. The office staff was also very friendly and professional!!

Our son had been seeing a Gastro doc in Braselton for months! The doctor may talk to him for 5 minutes if we were lucky and just give him ANOTHER prescription and we were out the door.My son, who is an Introvert finally fired the doctor himself! (He is 17)Our primary referred us the Dr. WALIA, she came in, talked to us, made us feel comfortable, welcomed and most important concerned about our son's health!She decided the best course of action and now we have a plan that will actually give us some ANSWERS!We are so happy we were referred to her and would most definitely refer her to everyone who is looking for a Peds Gastro Doctor. She is kind, caring, concerned, takes her time with patients, and listens!

Dr. Walia is the most amazing kind hearted doctor. She explains everything so well and made sure that I was okay after getting my daughter's diagnosis. Dr. Walia made it clear to us that she is here for the kids and not the money. I could go on and on about how amazing Dr. Walia is. We love Dr. Walia so much.

Amazing doctors. One of two in my experience with my 3 year old that listens and cares, genuinely cares. Even made recommendations on who to change her pediatrician too because she is obviously autistic. Up until now I have been doing the leg work and brow beating to get her the care and treatment and diagnosis she needs. This doctor goes above and beyond just the reason that you are there and wants your child to live their best life.

This doctors office is the best. This is one of the first doctors office that not only looks like it's made for the kids the staff also show they are there for the kids. The doctor listened to my child but she also educated me and my husband by showing us what she was feeling and what it meant instead of just telling us. She is by far the best doctor and I'm looking forward to our next visit.

Dr. Walia Is amazing. She has the BEST personality, and is so caring. The whole office staff was great. We have been to many GI doctors over the years for my daughter, and she is the first to actually listen to her, and take her pain seriously. Highly recommend Gastro health for kids.

Dr. Ritu Walia was such a nice person to meet. I loved her personality and how she treated my daughter on her first doctor's visit. My daughter had been suffering from GI issues for a while and she is able to get her in ASAP for all the exams she needed. She was super caring with my daughter. We loved her!Everyone treated us nicely here. We loved it!

We had our first appointment today, and I was really impressed with the provider. She took the time to get to know my son and answered all my questions. It made us feel comfortable, and I appreciate her warmth and attentiveness!
Waited for an hour past our appt time before being seen. Once we were seen the person doing the weight and height didn't seem to be very kid friendly or have patience but the doctor was absolutely wonderful and super knowledgeable

Amazing first time patient experience. My son is 3 yrs old and after seeing our pediatrician with some gastro concerns we were advised to see a pediatric gastro specialist. I called Gastro Health for Kids and they were able to see us in the same week. Nice and organized at arrival. Facility is kid-friendly, toys in lobby, etc. Dr Walia is AMAZING. She is thorough. She is kind. She is great with kids and parents. She was an absolute answer to this mamas prayers. So grateful to have found her!!

The BEST doctor I've ever met. She was wonderful. And listen to me and was so compassionate. So understanding and care. I can't rave enough about how much I loved this Dr. She's helping us figure out things for my daughter and has gone over and above to help us.

The front desk staff to the nursing assistants to the Doctor, were amazing. I have been looking for a decent gastro doctor for my daughter for the past 4 years and finally googled this office and read the Doctors Bio and was impressed and excited to meet her. She is very concerned and interested in my child’s health and concerns. She’s compassionate and thorough. I will drive the extra miles to get the helpMy child needs.

Very welcoming staff.The doctor is very knowledgeable, she listens to both parent and child and truly tries to get to the bottom of what ever issues you might be having! All nurses and office staff are sweet and professional. My son says this is his favorite doctor and feels very comfortable talking to doctor about any issue he might be having!

Dr. Walia and her NP, Nikki, are the absolute best! My 6 month old daughter had been having GI issues for over a month. Her pediatrician (whom we love!) referred her to a different pediatric GI. The first available appointment they had was over 3 months out. That wasn't acceptable, so I found Gastro Health for Kids and they got her in the next day. While we were there, Dr. Walia and Nikki made me feel like we were the only patients on their schedule - they took their time, asked questions, explained their thoughts and ideas, and provided exceptional care. They gave us a treatment plan and schedule a 2 week follow up to check in and see if further treatment would be needed. 48 hours after following their treatment plan, our daughter made progress that she had not made in over 4 weeks! Dr. Walia gave me peace of mind, reassurance, and courage to care and advocate for my daughter. I recommend Gastro Health for Kids to ANYBODY with pediatric GI needs. You will not find better care.
