Dr. Ritu Walia was such a nice person to meet. I loved her personality and how she treated my daughter on her first doctor's visit. My daughter had been suffering from GI issues for a while and she is able to get her in ASAP for all the exams she needed. She was super caring with my daughter. We loved her!Everyone treated us nicely here. We loved it!
Dr. Walia has been AMAZING for my son. We were able to be seen the same day when we were desperate for help. She immediately knew what to do to help him, and since that day he has been a happier and healthier kid! She goes above and beyond to give the best care she can! We can’t say enough good about her! If your little one is experiencing stomach issues, give her a call! You will be met with answers, fast! She’s the best!

If I could give 100 stars I would!! Dr. Walia was hands down the most personable doctor we have ever had an appointment with. I researched for hours trying to find the perfect GI doctor for my 15 year old, it was worth the time. She answered every question, took her time explaining even drawing out a picture and making sure my daughter didn’t have questions and we were both comfortable upon leaving. Labs were drawn right in the exam room. If you are looking for a pediatric GI doctor, don’t hesitate to see Dr. Walia! Weeks of worrying waiting for this appointment, we both left relieved and thankful for her time and knowledge. The office staff was also very friendly and professional!!

Seriously look no further. Dr. Ritu Walia is caring, compassionate and HILARIOUS. We found her at the time when we needed her the most. Dr. Walia and her staff were amazing! You don’t find a doctor that nice and willing to spend the extra time with you that often. She put our son at ease about what he needed. Highly, highly recommend her without a doubt!

Our son had been seeing a Gastro doc in Braselton for months! The doctor may talk to him for 5 minutes if we were lucky and just give him ANOTHER prescription and we were out the door.My son, who is an Introvert finally fired the doctor himself! (He is 17)Our primary referred us the Dr. WALIA, she came in, talked to us, made us feel comfortable, welcomed and most important concerned about our son's health!She decided the best course of action and now we have a plan that will actually give us some ANSWERS!We are so happy we were referred to her and would most definitely refer her to everyone who is looking for a Peds Gastro Doctor. She is kind, caring, concerned, takes her time with patients, and listens!

The front desk staff to the nursing assistants to the Doctor, were amazing. I have been looking for a decent gastro doctor for my daughter for the past 4 years and finally googled this office and read the Doctors Bio and was impressed and excited to meet her. She is very concerned and interested in my child’s health and concerns. She’s compassionate and thorough. I will drive the extra miles to get the helpMy child needs.
Amazing place to bring your little ones if they have some GI issues! Dr Walia is amazing! She and her staff always made my babies feel comfortable and explained everything thoroughly.

Great experience!! Dr. Ritu Walia is fabulous. She has such a wonderful personality, very friendly kind, caring and funny. In fact, she’s so personable, I didn’t realize she was the Dr! I’m so glad she is my child’s Dr and she is going to get him all better. Her staff is also as nice, friendly and caring too. The facility is very clean and kiddo friendly. Great experience!

My son is a first time patient as of today. After diagnosis after diagnosis and traveling to many doctors, I finally found Dr. Ritu and it was such a nice change of pace and breath of fresh air upon arriving and meeting her as well as the staff.She was intuitive, informative, thorough, and compassionate. The kind of doctor that you go years searching for, but are hard to find.I'm very blessed to have my son in her care. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. If you want someone who cares about the well being of your child as much as you do, someone who is very smart and someone whom will not just give a diagnosis to get you out the door and onto their next patient, then this is the place for you!Thank you Gastro Health for Kids.

Dr. Walia is the most amazing kind hearted doctor. She explains everything so well and made sure that I was okay after getting my daughter's diagnosis. Dr. Walia made it clear to us that she is here for the kids and not the money. I could go on and on about how amazing Dr. Walia is. We love Dr. Walia so much.

Dr. Walia is amazing she has seen my 1 year old since she was 6 months old and has done an amazing job with everything. Her team has always been very nice and my kids and me have always felt very welcome.

Dr. Walia and her NP, Nikki, are the absolute best! My 6 month old daughter had been having GI issues for over a month. Her pediatrician (whom we love!) referred her to a different pediatric GI. The first available appointment they had was over 3 months out. That wasn't acceptable, so I found Gastro Health for Kids and they got her in the next day. While we were there, Dr. Walia and Nikki made me feel like we were the only patients on their schedule - they took their time, asked questions, explained their thoughts and ideas, and provided exceptional care. They gave us a treatment plan and schedule a 2 week follow up to check in and see if further treatment would be needed. 48 hours after following their treatment plan, our daughter made progress that she had not made in over 4 weeks! Dr. Walia gave me peace of mind, reassurance, and courage to care and advocate for my daughter. I recommend Gastro Health for Kids to ANYBODY with pediatric GI needs. You will not find better care.

Dr. Ritu Walia and her team are excellent. Dr.Walia has bedside manner, and always answers questions thoroughly. Dr. Walia cares about her patients and it makes me feel comfortable that we are receiving personalized care from her and her team.
After many trips to useless ERs for them to run the same test, to have doctors not be interested in trying to find the cause of the severe abdominal pain my son was experiencing, we finally found Dr. Walia. She was immediately alarmed by the fact that he had lost 62lbs in less than 3 months, which didn’t seem to be of any importance to ER doctors, and she immediately began ordering test to try to determine what was going on. She has been extremely caring, patient, and determined to find an answer. She offered to help us with the 504 paperwork for schoolSince my son has missed so much school from being sick. She has called me to check to see how my son was feeling. She’s done everything she possibly can to make him feel more comfortable. We would not use another G.I. doctor ever.

My 16-year-old daughter has seen four gastroenterologists in the last ten years. Not one of these doctors even tried to get to the bottom of my daughter's digestive issues. We've been served a myriad of excuses, and my daughter always felt undermined and ignored. Dr. Walia listened to my daughter, and she encouraged us by telling us she will do whatever she can to help ease my daughter's years of digestive issues. It's wonderful to find a doctor that clearly loves her job and genuinely seems to want to help her parents.
Best doctor experience we have ever had. Really listened to our issues and addressed them appropriately. Would give 10 stars if I could!

Everyone in the office was soo sweet ! My daughter loved the waiting room , also the touchscreen board in the room where she colored the whole time !!! The doctor took the time to sit with us and explained everything and set up a wonderful game plan for my little one ! Wouldn’t go anywhere else
